Goji (Go-jee) berries are small, bright reddish-orange berries that grow on vines in the Himalayas. This potent berry is small in size and has the tartness of a cranberry.
Goji berries have been cherished in the Himalayan regions of Tibet and Mongolia for centuries. The people of the Himalayas love this berry so much they devote a yearly festival in its honor. The festival is similar to Oktoberfest celebrations (just as happy) but a lot healthier! The Goji berry has sustained the health and lifestyle of the Himalayan region for many generations. This amazing superfruit is celebrated for providing the Himalayan people with a strong mind and body, as well as bright moods.
Goji is nicknamed the “happy berry.” Goji helps support positive moods and restore vitality. Many of the local people of Tibet and Mongolia believe that starting your day with Goji berries will brighten your mood and keep you smiling all throughout the day. Now that’s certainly something to smile about!
